The Napa Academy of Performing Arts provides paid Internships in performance arts. 

 

 

 

We are currently accepting applications for our 2023 musical theater summer camps.

These internships are open to students ages 17-23.  Check out our 2022 Summer Camps:

YOUR ROLE:
As an Intern you will garner training and experience in a professionally driven,

fast-paced, hands-on environment specifically working with youth in performance arts.

You will assist the Camp Directors in rehearsing the campers with musical theater numbers,

provide hands-on assistance in choreography, costume and props/craft design, camp logistics, and facility maintenance. This role is great for anyone looking to bolster their theatrical education resume or get their start as a teaching artist.

YOUR AVAILABILITY:

The dates and times are noted in the application. We require you to be available for the entire camp.

QUALIFICATIONS:
We are seeking Interns who have hands on experience working with children and working in theatrical environments. Reliability and a can do attitude is a must. Theatre has always been a safe space to create for people of all backgrounds and it is expected that you will be supportive towards all of our wonderful students who come from many different unique backgrounds and identities. Theatre is the ultimate collaborative experience. it takes all of us doing our best to put on a great show! We highly suggest having an artistic resume as well as a headshot available at the time of application submission.

HEALTH and SAFETY
We will be maintaining Covid-safe practices according to the county guidelines at the time of camp. Masks will be optional unless county guidelines state otherwise and we will respect the choices of all choices
