Our Story

A Dream Realized

Napa Academy of Performing Arts is a life long dream realized by two people - one a fourth-generation Napa native, the other a Midwestern expatriate. Taylor Bartolucci (the native) and Barry Martin (the expat) met in late 2008 and discovered they had much in common in their love for live theatre, and soon after created their own theatre company, now Napa Valley's premier theater company, Lucky Penny Productions.

Always in the plan was a performance arts academy designed for those who wish to experience the joy of performance, as well as those seeking career training. Today N.A.P.A. is realized and offers age-appropriate programming for ages 4-99 in a positive and inclusive atmosphere that is educational, enriching, and entertaining.
